Projects
The core mission of Sjaal met Verhaal is to create jobs for women. By ensuring a continuous demand for products, we create work, and work provides an income.
Additionally, Sjaal met Verhaal has supported various projects in Nepal since day one, which rely on donations. The two largest projects are the children's home in Pokhara, Namaste Community Foundation (NCF), and the construction of a medical post by the foundation Asian Heritage Foundation Nepal.
Sjaal met Verhaal also supports projects in other ways. For example, there are always products with small imperfections or items that remain in stock. This does not mean these products are unsellable. These items are donated to Stichting Diyo Nepal, which sells them at small markets, and the proceeds go to the foundation.
